You will reach this 1100 sq. ft. sunny, west-facing lakeside cottage after a 5 ½ hour drive through breathtaking scenery. Whether you drive through the Fraser Canyon or take the Coquihalla, the scenery cannot be beaten anywhere in B.C. You will be impressed with this beautiful, well-kept ½ acre property that includes a children’s log playhouse on the property.
The house has 2 huge decks overlooking a secluded and protected bay. The property is gently sloping to the lakeshore for easy and safe access. There is excellent swimming off the private dock/swim platform or from the pebbly beach into the crystal clear water – as well, water-skiing is permitted on the lake.
Sheridan Lake fluctuates in temperature based on the weather. If it's sunny and warm during June/July the lake will warm up to 70 degrees. This makes the swimming very comfortable. We swim without wetsuits and are always in the lake.....on sunny days of course.
The fishing is best in May, June and September. Also, we have fished from the dock and regularly see large fish swimming by. Several trout have been caught in our bay. Some fish are caught in July and August. There was a 17 lb rainbow caught by a 15 year old in August a couple years ago . The average trout is 3-4 lbs in size. Rainbow Trout are abundant in the lake.
There is also a 12' aluminum boat that can be used to paddle out for fishing.
